The Synergies and Tension between International Trade Law and Environmental Law in Ethiopia

The relationship between international trade law and environmental is susceptible to divergent views. Trade liberalization global competition among producers may result in efficient use of natural resources, or it on the contrary impede regulatory interventions by government protect environment that lead wider circulation polluting substances. This article examines linkages (synergies) tension Ethiopia. Relevant international, regional as well domestic legal instruments have been investigated. literature has also analysed. research identifies both contradictions incorporated laws Thus, Ethiopia needs work more balance promotion protection context sustainable development.
